Jay is a graduate of Moorestown High School and Wake Forest University.  He is a New Jersey Licensed Public Accountant, and a member of the National Society of Accountants and the New Jersey Association of Public Accountants.  He is the son of  Harry Conway who served a career in finance and banking, and Rebecca Conway who was a Moorestown school teacher.

While attending Wake Forest University, Jay was enrolled in their R.O.T.C. program. After college, Jay served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Captain, and continued to serve in the Army Reserve.  His accounting career began in Philadelphia, Pa. with the “Big 8 Accounting Firm” of Lybrand, Ross Brothers & Montgomery, now known as PricewaterHouseCoopers, advancing to Senior Auditor.  After leaving PwC, Jay served as Treasurer for their client, Philadelphia based Cameo Parkway Records of Chubby Checker and “The Twist” fame.  Jay left Cameo Parkway Records to start his own accounting and tax firm in Cherry Hill and moved his firm to Cinnaminson in 1986.

Jay’s volunteer activities include assisting, along with his wife, Donna, in various  functions on behalf of The First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, assisting with local Veterans Affairs activities, and serving on the Cinnaminson Township Zoning Board.

Jay is an avid golfer and has been playing golf since he was a teenager.  Other hobbies include building model planes and ships, traveling in the family motor home, and showing the family’s Irish Setters and English Springer Spaniels to compete for their AKC Championships.
